Hungarians consider themselves relatively uninformed as regards to financial affairs, but consult several sources when it comes to finding investment options, a survey conducted jointly by CIB Bank and the GfK research institute showed. The two firms conducted the research by asking online 500 people in the 25-69 age group who use the internet on a weekly basis.

The results were released only now because Hungarian researchers did not believe that pupils here are so weak. Magyar Telekom will invest in broadband internet connections for 230,000 Hungarian households as part of a deal that EU subsidies are not given for geographically parallel investments by other firms. Economy state secretary Ákos Kara told journalists that the Hungarian unit of Deutsche Telekom will build the networks with speeds of at least 30 Mbit/s by April 15, 2018.
