Why Do Half of Hungarians Regularly Experience Negative Stress?
Every second Hungarian regularly struggles with negative stress, primarily due to an overloaded lifestyle and conflicts at work, in family life, or personal relationships, according to a survey by NN Insurance.

The study also found that nearly one in three people experience ongoing anxiety over financial issues.

While stress is a daily reality for many, research shows it can have both positive and negative effects, depending on how individuals experience and manage it.

The results show that 49% of internet users aged 18–69 regularly face negative stress, a concerning figure given its health implications.

Constant rushing and overload were cited by 47% of respondents as the top stressors, followed by job-related pressure and deadlines at 43%, and family or relationship issues at 39%.

Financial stress, including worries over debt and daily expenses, was the primary source of anxiety for 34% of participants, underlining the role that money plays in personal wellbeing.
