The study also found that nearly one in three people experience ongoing anxiety over financial issues.
While stress is a daily reality for many, research shows it can have both positive and negative effects, depending on how individuals experience and manage it.
The results show that 49% of internet users aged 18–69 regularly face negative stress, a concerning figure given its health implications.
Constant rushing and overload were cited by 47% of respondents as the top stressors, followed by job-related pressure and deadlines at 43%, and family or relationship issues at 39%.
Financial stress, including worries over debt and daily expenses, was the primary source of anxiety for 34% of participants, underlining the role that money plays in personal wellbeing.
