Budapest Ritmo returns for the 11th time as one of Central Europe’s most exciting world music gatherings, welcoming audiences and industry professionals between 9 and 11 April 2026 as part of the Bartók Spring International Arts Weeks. The legendary German rock band Scorpions celebrated their 60th anniversary this year with a massive concert in their hometown of Hanover, and next year they will once again embark on a tour to honor these magical, success-filled six decades. Hungary’s biggest winter birdwatching event, the 25th Wild Goose Festival, will take place on 29 November on the shores of Old Lake (Öreg-tó) in Tata, north-western Hungary. Each year, thousands of visitors gather to witness the breath-taking sight of tens of thousands of wild geese taking off and landing on the lake — a spectacle that marks one of the highlights of Hungary’s nature calendar.
