The 12th Chimney Cake Festival will be held at the Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden, offering expats a sweet attraction filled with local tradition, live music and a variety of tastes to try. Known in Hungarian as Kürtőskalács, the beloved Chimney Cake is a local favourite made from spiral dough baked over charcoal, coated in sugar, and often rolled in toppings like cinnamon, walnut, and coconut.

The tenth-anniversary Chimney Cake Festival will take place over four days between 13 and 15 October.
