Budapest has placed seventh on a list of Europe’s largest technology clusters compiled by leading real estate advisor CB Richard Ellis. The survey looked at 35 cities in all, each of which had at least 40,000 employees working in technology companies.

Hungary currently has around 15,000 homeless people and 4,000 or so live on the streets at night, the head of a charity for the homeless said. Péter Győri, chairman of the board of the Shelter Foundation, told MTI that between 10,000 and 11,000 look for shelters in which to stay.

Budapest and Warsaw are in agreement that central Europe can become the engine of European growth, Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s minister of foreign affairs and trade, said after meeting his Polish counterpart Witold Waszczykowski. He said they had both agreed that Visegrad Group cooperation should be intensified, given changes taking place around the world, such as in US foreign policy and Brexit.
