It was around this time that Budapest's councillors thought that the Hungarian capital should also have such a hall.

Eighth District Fidesz mayor Máté Kocsis and Budapest police chief Tamás Tóth yesterday called on owner state asset manager MNV and state railway company MÁV to cancel the rental contract of the Józsefvárosi market, due to a recent rise in crime there. Kocsis said the Négy Tigris Piac (Four Tigers Market) costs the state Ft 15 billion in lost tax revenue, according to estimates.
