Advent Feast started in front of the Basilica on 1st of December, Sunday afternoon with a picturesque opening ceremony: the festive decoration of the square, the streets and the Christmas marked lighted up with the help of the district’s mayor and the representatives of Samsung Electronics Zrt. It was like from the “Italian Job”, “Goldfinger” or “Fast and Furious” films. At 6pm on Saturday, a cavalcade of classic cars whizzed across the Chain Bridge with a police escort, and landed at Széchenyi Square (formerly Roosevelt Square) in front of the MTA building.

Real specialties will surprise the car fans: this year the Donau Masters international old timer auto tour will arrive in Budapest for the eighth times on the 6th of July, 2013 showcasing approximately 90 cars. The car miracles produced before December 31, 1977, set out on their journey from Germany, drive through Austria and Slovakia to finally arrive in Budapest.
