Hungary has lost another one of its most talented Magyar sons this year with the passing away of the late Tony Curtis (age 85) on Sept 29, 2010. Bernard Swartz, alias Tony Curtis (also known as James Curtis and Anthony Curtis in the begining of his career, launched in 1949) was born to Jewish Hungarian immigrants (from Mateszalka, NE Hungary) in New York’s Bronx district on June 3, 1925.

Angeline Jolie has been working in the Gyermekváros, a foster home situated in the Károlyi-palace in Fót, for the last two weeks. According to the foster home’s employees, Jolie and the film shoot crew have been working in complete isolation and so far have not appeared in public.

"Tony Curtis died aged 85 on Wednesday night, his daughter Jamie Lee Curtis announced Thursday. The US movie legend was born Bernard Schwartz in 1925 to Jewish immigrants from Mátészalka, east Hungary. He grew up in the Bronx area of New York and spoke only Hungarian until the age of six.

Dave has appeared in three feature films. He played Dave the comedian in ‘Maybe Baby’, written and directed by Ben Elton, and a porn star in ‘I Want Candy’, directed by Stephen Surgit (sadly his scene didn’t make the final edit). Dave’s third film ‘Huge’, was directed by Ben Miller, and will soon be on general release.
