Hungary is ranked among “free” countries on Freedom House’s democracy survey this year. According to its latest report Freedom in the World 2014, Hungary scored 1, the best score, for political rights and it kept its score of 2 for civil liberties for the third year in a row. Countries with a score of 1-2,5 are ranked as free countries.
