The annual swim across Lake Balaton between Révfülöp and Balatonboglár will be staged on Saturday, for the 33rd time. Organisers said that they expect thousands again to cover the 5.2km distance. Good weather is forecast, but organisers will make a final decision at noon on Thursday.

The Cross-swimming has been postponed again due to the still inconvenient expected weather. The anticipated new date for the event is 19 of July. The pre-registrations are valid for the next date.

The 2013 Lake Balaton cross swimming competition is planned to take place on Saturday 20 july 2013. By tradition the 5.2-kilometre competition starts at Révfülöp port and finishes at Platan beach in Balatonboglár. Participants are welcome to start swimming anytime between 8 am & 2 pm.
