Speaking to the press before the opening ceremony, Tamás Révész, organiser of the Hungarian show, said that from 80,000 submitted photographs around 150 had been chosen.

The largest folk arts event in Hungary, which runs until August 20, features craftsmen and artists from all regions of the Carpathian Basin and, among other countries, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Honduras.
