The unlicenced ownership and acquisition of 5 kilogrammes of dried, fermented or cut tobacco would be classified as a criminal act under an amendment proposal submitted on Monday. The proposal submitted by parliament’s economic committee with the aim to strengthen child protection legislation was unanimously approved by the constitutional committee.
