The Kecskemét Prosecutor’s Office brought perjury charges against a translator involved in the trials on the 2015 Röszke disturbances involving migrants, the prosecutor’s office said. On September 16, 2015, Hungarian police stopped illegal migrants attempting to break through the gate at the crossing point of Röszke-Horgos on the border between Hungary and Serbia.

The Liget Budapest investment project, in charge of the reconstruction of the park, was created in March last year and the community has been protesting against it from the start.
