The Hungarian State Opera House will host a tribute concert to celebrate the birth centenary of world-renowned Hungarian pianist Annie Fischer on April 14. Pianists Jenő Jandó, Tamás Vásáry, Ilona Prúnyi and Katalin Falvai will play solos accompanied by the Solti Chamber Orchestra to commemorate the artist, who died in 1995, Vásáry told a press conference in Budapest.

For others, his name signifies symphonic poems such as A Hero’s Life, Till Eulenspiegel and Zarathustra. He was also responsible for great lieder, like the incomparable Four Lasts Songs.
