Born in 1983, Éva Polgár started her piano studies in 1990. In 2001, she was admitted to the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, where her teacher was Hamsa Al-Wadi Juis. Éva finished her studies in Helsinki in 2008, and at her diploma concert was honoured to play Beethoven's 3rd concerto with an orchestra conducted by the famous Finnish conductor, Okko Kamu. The royal Danish capital has just been crowned the best city in the world for quality of life. Copenhagen grabbed top spot for its cutting-edge design credentials amongst other factors including the number of cinema screens and ease of getting a quality glass of wine at 1am.

"The grace of Gresham Palace is striking. At sunset the portrait and the golden tiles of the façade, which at other times of the day are pale, seem to glow. Its proportions are surprisingly peaceful given the art nouveau style, and as one would expect all its surface is richly decorated.
