Many member countries of the Council of Europe have problems with overcrowded prisons, among them Hungary, a report released in Brussels on Tuesday showed. Hungary was among states like Serbia, Italy, Cyprus, and Belgium, where the crowdedness of law enforcement facilities poses the biggest problems.

On the birthday of Leonardo da Vinci, the all times’ greatest Leonardo-exhibition has opened its doors in the Janus Pannonius Museum of Pécs in Hungary. The exhibition, showcasing the scientific and engineering works of the genius brain, awaits visitors at two venues, on almost 1500 square meters, until 30th September 2014.
Budapest Taxis Often Fail To Follow Rules

Since new taxi regulations came into force in September 2013, some 3,782 taxis have been inspected and in 25% of the cases failed to meet technical requirements, the Budapest transport centre BKK found.

An exhibition of nearly 60 inventions by Leonardo da Vinci opened at Pécs Janus Pannonius Museum yesterday. Mayor Zsolt Páva and Giovanni di Pasquale, an official from the lending institution, Galileo Science History Museum in Florence, opened the exhibition.
