Electricity generated using renewable resources edged up by 0.7% to 3,159 GWh last year, the Hungarian Energy and Utilities Regulatory Office (MEKH) said, based on preliminary data. The volume accounted for 10.5% of domestic electricity generation.

The Centre for Budapest Transport (BKK) has published images of the first Solaris-Skoda trolley bus that has arrived to the capital, which will be followed by a fleet of further 20 single-unit and 16 articulated vehicles to serve District XIV and the city centre.
