I’ve wanted to blog about our Queen’s Birthday Party for a little while now. But first we got very busy in the Embassy with preparations for the European Council and then I went down to the Balaton for a couple of days. Now things are a little more back to normal and I’m catching up.

Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the government has put an end to "a world in which justice served criminals", and in which "it could be assumed that criminals and the police are in cooperation" at a graduation ceremony of young police officers at the National Public Service University in Budapest on Sunday.

The party was held at the most amazing place of the 30-year-old hotel, the roof terrace, and the celebration lasted late night. The round anniversary was a great celebration for the enthusiastic staff, the leaders of the hotel and the celebrities as well.

According to amendments adopted by Parliament on 4 June, the identity of editorial boards’ sources will receive protection, the remits of the Media and Infocommunications Commissioner and the Media Authority will be more precisely defined, programme quotas will change and more programmes will be made accessible to those with hearing impairment.
