Vajdahunyad Castle Summer Festival in Budapest is a festival of classical music, swing, klezmer and traditional Hungarian gypsy music. The 2014 MasterCard Balaton Sound attracted a total of 145 000 fans during 4 days and 5 nights. Almost 50% of the guests came from abroad and the festival passes were sold out months before the start of the event. The live stream of the festival reached hundreds of thousands of viewers, thanks to the cooperation with Ustream and Telekom.

Three new names have arrived to the now complete line-up of MasterCard Balaton Sound. Sander van Doorn, Lindstrom live and Roni Size & Dynamite MC were added to the already prestigious music line-up of the beach party. In addition organizers announced that all passes are sold for the event and the festival area will be expanded.
