Join us on March 16th on Szabadság tér from 14:00 and participate in St Patrick’s Day parade. Since 2011 the event has been growing and attracting more and more followers. It is a great family day and last year, despite the cold weather, we had over 1400 people join the fun.

The United States has released a statement that "strongly condemns the shameful event organized by Jobbik, a Hungarian political party identified with ethnic hatred and anti-Semitism, to unveil a bust honoring Nazi ally Miklos Horthy, Hungary’s leader during World War II, at the entrance to the Hungarian Reformed Church at the edge of Szabadsag ter in Budapest on November 3".

The Salkaházi Sára rakpart, the Pest-side quay between Szabadság híd (Liberty Bridge) and Közraktár utca, is being reconstructed due partly to the M4 station construction works and to the damages caused by the recent floods.
