Summer gets hot in the Hungarian capital, sometimes far too hot for comfort. To deal with the heat I often imagine a magical watering-hole I visited recently, it’s a tropical venue on a Robinson Crusoe style island... Follow me there for a refreshing drink or two, for some exotic food, and for the sunset view - don’t worry there’s free WiFi too.

Total Dance Festival is all about the greatest hits of the 90’s, played out this year at Budapest's Kincsem Park Horse Race Course, with its "fantastic history and layout". Organisers also say that there hasn't been such a huge musical show arranged there since the Madonna concert back in 2009.

Planet Sushi opened a second restaurant in Budapest this May on the Buda side in Allee Shopping Center, with a totally new interior design.
