Marc-André Salamin, Former Swiss Ambassador

Mr. Salamin is the Swiss Ambassador to Hungary. He graduated from the University of Lausanne in 1973 with a degree in Law ('Licence') and received his postgraduate diploma in European Law from the University of Paris in 1974.
Katalin Varga, Managing Director, Settlers Hungary

Dr. Katalin Varga was initially denied a university place back in 1977 since her father worked at the US Embassy in Budapest and so her family were considered a 'political risk'. Therefore she started work with a technical firm and learnt computer skills from practical experience.

David Copp trained in the wine trade in Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Rhine and Moselle and won a WSET scholarship to study Sherry in Jerez de la Frontera.

Melanie Smith is a Lecturer in Cultural Tourism from the University of Greenwich in London. She is currently on a research sabbatical in Budapest which is likely to be extended indefinitely!
