The IXX. Sausage Festival will be held from October 22-25, 2015. The tourism sector may this year reach record high figures, as the number of guests at accommodation establishments is expected to hit 10 million, the number of tourism nights and the amount of tourism revenues are to exceed 25 million and HUF 35bn, respectively, by the end of the year, Deputy State Secretary for Tourism Ádám Ruszinkó said at a press conference organized to mark World Tourism Day.

The National Agriculture and Food Exhibition (Országos Mezőgazdasági és Élelmiszeripari Kiállítás, in short OMÉK), which is the biggest agricultural exhibition in Hungary, has a long running tradition that goes back to more than 100 years. The 77th OMÉK is open for the visitors between 23 September and 27 September 2015 in the Hungexpo Budapest Fair Center.
