Over 100 residential buildings and 20 public buildings have been damaged and several tens of thousands of people are without electricity as a consequence of gale-force winds that continued throughout Hungary on Thursday, the disaster management authority said. Most damage was caused in roofs and chimneys and trees fell over air cables in many places.

Vodafone will further expand its regional customer service centre in Miskolc over the next one and a half years, CEO of Vodafone Hungary Diego Massidda announced on Tuesday.
