Medical and technical courses, as well as kindergarten teacher training are the most attractive for students that come to Hungary to complete their higher education, László Palkovics, state secretary at the human resources ministry, told public television M1 on Wednesday. Palkovics noted that young foreigners make up 8% of all students at Hungary’s universities and colleges.

Hungarian-trained world-class racehorse Overdose died from a serious disease at the age of ten, the website pannoniaoverdose.hu reported. Overdose was considered to be the best horse to emerge from Hungary since the great Kincsem in the 1870s. It triumphed in all of its first 14 races and attracted purchase offers as high as 5 million euros.
