The National Development Ministry and the Hungarian Cycling Club have launched a spring campaign to encourage people to cycle to work each day. At the request of Skoda, the procurement arbitration court KDB has cancelled the trolley bus tender announced by the city of Budapest. The tender announcement for the purchase of 24 trolley buses specified emergency batteries only without extra diesel engines as an option. Competition for the tender was thus impacted negatively, the KDB found.
