Debut Food Festival: 'Taste of Transylvania' in Szentendre this Spring

The Taste of Transylvania gastronomic and cultural festival — already established in Romania’s Transylvania region — will be held in Hungary for the first time from 27–29 March. The venue is the Transylvanian section of the Open-Air Ethnographic Museum (Skanzen) in Szentendre.

The individual venues independently take care of the outdoor people limit and the observance of all necessary hygiene regulations. Please take into account the capacity of each place. The interiors of each location can only be visited with an Immunity Certificate.

A Pork Show take place in front of Bálna on the 25th and 26th of January. Over these two days, about 30 pigs from Fegyvernek that weight 150-160 kilograms will be processed. Teams can compete to make the finest sausage, while visitors get to know the steps of the process from professionals.
