- 24 Jan 2013 7:59 AM

Recently on YouTube, I watched an old clip of the hit TV show Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? during which the host asked a perky American blonde the following question: “Budapest is the capital of what European country?” After much hemming and hawing, the woman finally gave her answer: “France." E-gads! After my eyebrows finally came down, I thought…I better make sure no one reading my new ...

November is a time to remember those who have gone before. In Hungary, Imagefamilies visit cemeteries, leave wreaths and flowers, light candles and talk about loved ones they’ve lost. For me, it’s a time to think about Hungarians whose lives were lived in the shadow of war, fascism, communism or poverty, and I am once again grateful to have grown up in peace, freedom and prosperity.

- 10 Nov 2012 11:00 AM

An unmissable classic Frenák-choreography with a new cast. There are five dancers on the stage. At times they motionlessly observe the others’ fight from outside and at a distance, while in other situations they intervene in the web of complicated and subtle human relationships. How can one person become reality for the other? Can the desire for one another remain unfulfilled forever? The reality ...
