A hunting shop in Hungary has bought thousands of rocket-propelled weapons from the Hungarian armed forces, the opposition PM party’s spokesman said. Bence Tordai cited defence ministry contracts showing that in 2013 and 2014 the company bought 1,357 air launched rockets, 83 nose guns and 52 airborne rockets from the Hungarian army for 7.5 million forints (EUR 24,000).

The new NATO force integration unit (NFIU) to be built in Székesfehérvár, in central Hungary, will boost Hungary’s security without endangering anyone, Defence Minister István Simicskó said. On Thursday, Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg announced that NATO would set up new NATO force integration units in Slovakia and Hungary to complement the six existing units in eastern Europe.
