• Rio 2016: Hungarian Olympic Team’s Official “Anthem” Unveiled

    The Hungarian team’s official song for the 2016 Rio Olympics has been officially introduced to the public on Tuesday. “Hallhatatlanok” (“Immortals”), written by rapper Deniz – real name Dénes Rizner – is meant to relate to everyonbe who have ever done sport or merely rooted for a Hungarian Gold. The song was also played at Hungarian Olympians’ oath-taking ceremony held in the Palace of Arts, Budapest, last week.

    The 45 year-old American jazz-singer visits Hungary for the first time. Even his first album Water, released in 2010, has received a Grammy nomination, and in 2014 his third album Liquid Spirit has won the Grammy Award for "Best Vocal Jazz Album". In the UK the same album became a Gold Record after selling more than 100 000 copies by the end of 2014, and in 2015 Gregory won the International Jazz Artist of the Year prize at the JazzFm Awards for the second time. Besides his concerts in the UK and in the USA, he is regularly featured on other artists’ albums. He is one of the most wanted jazz vocalist of our time.

    The Maestro aka Ky-Mani Marley teams up with Germany's most reknown reggae artist Gentleman for a new album collaboration project. After meeting few years ago on the European Summer Tour circuit, Ky-Mani was invited to be a part of Gentleman’s MTV Unplugged concert in Cologne, followed by a tour in April 2015.

    Paddy And The Rats is an Irish Pub Punk Rock band based out of Miskolc Hungary. The group was founded by Paddy O'Reilly (songwriter, vocals), Vince Murphy (bass) and Joey MacOnkay (electric guitar) in 2008. Seamus Connelly (drums), Sonny Sullivan (accordion) and Sam McKenzie (fiddle, Irish whistles, bagpipes, mandolin) later joined the group. The music is Irish and Celtic folk but they combine punk rock, and some Russian, Gypsy and polka elements.
