The "What were you wearing?" exhibition brings light to sexual violence, showing that such things can happen to anyone, anytime, and it is never the survivor's fault.
With numerous stories and clothes presented, we aim to disprove the popular myth that sexual violence only happens when someone is 'wearing something revealing or provocative'.
Shocking stories need to be told and heard to bring a change. People face such brutalities on a daily basis, yet we make the conscious decision to turn our eyes, habituate this behaviour, and even justify it.
We need change. Are you ready to listen?
