This is an official Democratic Primary of the US Democratic Party, where your vote will count towards confirming President Obama as the Democratic nominee and will select delegates to the Democratic National Convention, in Charlotte, NC. in September. Our Budapest voting center will be one of over 90 being hosted in 33 countries around the world.

All Democrats abroad can vote in this Primary -- you can register on-site. Help show the strength of Democrats Abroad in this 2012 election by participating in our Global Primary on May 3rd, at Treehugger Dan's. General US voter registration will also be available to any US citizen regardless of party affiliation.

Voting only takes a few minutes, but come hang out for a bit, meet some other DA members, pick up a campaign button, and talk over the issues that are important to you for this election year. Participants can also respond to a voter survey that will help in shaping the Democrats Abroad Policy Platform.

Democrats Abroad is an official "state party" for overseas Americans of the Democratic Party with elected members of the DNC and an official delegation attending the Democratic National Convention. Votes from democrats abroad have made the difference in electing Jon Tester, Jim Webb, Mark Begich, and Al Franken to the US Senate.
