Hungarian Government Would Seal An Agreement With The IMF
Hungary can reach an agreement with international lenders based on letters sent by the government to the International Monetary Fund and the European Commission, said Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in his Friday interview on the regular morning show called 180 Minutes (MR1 Kossuth, Hungarian public radio).

Orban stressed he wanted to seal an agreement with the IMF which would help Hungary continue on the path that it embarked on. He did not mention a deadline for a possible agreement.

With regard to alternative proposals sent last Werdnesday, chief negotiator Mihály Varga had earlier said the proposals were in connection with public finances and the budget, but insisted that the government was committed to implementing its job protection plan and would not cut pensions, wages or benefits.
