Hungarian Athletes “Close To National Side” List

Fidesz maintains a list of athletes “close to the national side”, the tabloid Blikk reported on Monday, citing a document it obtained. The list includes the names and contact details of 50 people, most of them Olympic champion athletes and coaches.
The list was allegedly compiled by Fidesz’s former 14th District mayor Gábor Rátonyi for party director Gábor Kubatov.
Former world boxing champion István “Koko” Kovács, who is on the list, said he sees nothing wrong with it.
