“Not only the excellent wines and the unique bottle, but perhaps the logo, and the whole image are all very strong and important brand labels of the Szekszárd wine region. It should reflect the high-level value, dynamism and cooperation represented by the wine region.
Therefore, being respectful to our tradition, it was obvious that the next step forward should be to renew the image of the wine region, which integrates the development of the past years”, explained Péter Vida Jr. the decision of the Winemakers’ Guild of Szekszárd (Szekszárdi Borászok Céhe) to announce a new tender call of HUF 500,000 for establishing the image of the wine region.
A partner for managing the tender was needed that performs its own activity at such a high level as the best Kadarka, Kékfrankos and Bikavér wines are made in Szekszárd wine region. “ArtHungry.com is an independent online social website launched in 2015 to provide a common platform for Hungarian creative designers for sharing their products and networking.
This online platform is perfectly suitable for hosting such a tender, so I am eagerly waiting for the submissions uploaded by both our current members and newly registered designers to this exciting call”, said José Tábori-Simon, art director of ArtHungry.com.
The call for the tender is launched on www.arthungry.com on 11th October. However, it is an open tender but applicants are requested to register online previously. After the deadline, 28th October, a 5-member jury will evaluate the submissions. The general public has also access and is invited to vote to the image plans. The winners nominated by the jury and the interested visitors will be announced after the evaluation process is closed, at the beginning of November.
