Consumer Protection Survey Launched in Hungary
Hungary's government has announced the launch of a survey on consumer protection issues.

The online consumer protection consultation will allow Hungarians to weigh in on efforts to crack down on unfair commercial practices and online fraud, regulations on air passenger rights and other matters.

In a video message on social media on Sunday, National Economy Minister Marton Nagy said consumer protection served the purpose of safety, consumer awareness, trust and the support of fair business practices.

He added that the government would take steps if consumers were treated unfairly.
