Francophone Film Festival, Now On Until 10 March
This 'Francophone Film Days and Festival' will offer nearly 50 programmes connected with the French language and culture in twelve Hungarian cities the organisers told XpatLoop.com

During the 7th Francophone Film Days, lasting from March 1 to 10, altogether 29 feature films and two collections of short films will be screened in the French Institute and various cinemas in Budapest, according to Eric Fournier, France’s ambassador to Hungary.

The festival will also feature a variety of classical, jazz and other music events and theatre performances, with a special focus on Canadian art to honour the 150th anniversary of that country’s foundation, he said.

The foreign ministry co-funded the event with six million forints (EUR 19,500).
