Online sales expanded by 18% last year, reaching an estimated Ft 310 billion. The largest increase, of 24%, occurred in sales of consumer durables.

The Christmas season accounted for 36% of total online sales in 2016.

Online transactions made up 3.9% of all retail trade last year, up from 3% in 2015.

There is a consolidating trend in the online retail market, GKI Digital underlined.
