Dalí Exhibition To Open In Szeged
An exhibition showing more than 60 works by Salvador Dalí including drawings, lithographs, etchings and a few rarely seen figurines will open in the Reök Palace in Szeged on Friday, an art historian said. The core of the exhibition gives a cross section of works the Catalan surrealist master made from the 1960s until the 1980s, Róbert Nátyi said.

In the main hall drawings inspired by the theme of the Cosmos and by horses as well as illustrations for the Song of Songs in the Old Testament have been put on display. A separate room shows pictures published in the cook book Dalí prepared together with his wife, Gala.

Visitors can also see a selection of porcelain plates Dalí produced in collaboration with the porcelain factory of Limoges and a couple of rarely exhibited figurines.

The exhibition in the Art Nouveau masterpiece Reök Palace will run until 24 September.
