Clients must also have and NFC technology in their mobile phone with an Android 4.4 or newer operating system.

OTP made the system available exclusively to bank card holders in June.

Clients must download the Simple app from OTP, which in turn generates a virtual bank card. Clients may then upload money to these virtual cards from their OTP accounts.

Mobile phones can be used for payment at 87,000 sales points in Hungary.
