The Hungarian National Museum’s touring exhibition about the first world war is to take in ten Hungarian cities. “Pluralities – Everyday life in the first world war” is funded by the human resources ministry and a committee for commemorating the 100th anniversary of the first world war.
Installed in a tent, which attracted over 35,000 visitors at its original site in Székesfehervár, central Hungary, the exhibition explores life on the front and the hinterland during the Great War, Benedek Varga said.
The exhibition leaves on Sept. 16 for Eger, in northern Hungary, and will then travel on to Hódmezővásárhely, Győr, Karcag, Kecskemét, Debrecen, Vác, Pécs, Békéscsaba and Zanka.
