Invitation: Diplomatic Fair, This Sunday

Held in 2017 on 26 November from 10am to 4pm, the event will again raise funds for local children's charities.
"Visitors can buy goods from the stalls of Embassies from 45 countries, taste national dishes from 20 countries, and win great raffle prizes," Bridget Lindsay, President of DSB, told us.

This popular annual expat event also offers concerts by performers from India, Slovakia and Serbia, plus a Kid’s Corner with children’s programs.
The aim of the Diplomatic Fair is to represent the countries present through cultural activities such as music, dance, traditional crafts, souvenirs, and food, as well as to raise funds to benefit good causes in Hungary.
The following Hungarian Charities will be benefitting from funds raised at the Diplomatic Fair 2017:
'Our House' (A mi házunk) foundation in Esztergom, offering educational and social support for disadvantaged children and adolescents, particularly from Roma families;
Sofi - Special Education and Development Institute for children with intellectual and physical disabilities in Budapest;
Heim Pál (Children's Hospital ), Madarász utca Unit - Urology Unit, Budapest.
Last but not least Paediatric Haematology and Stem-Cell Transplantation Unit for Children, Budapest (Egyesített Szent István & Szent László korház)
