'Orchid Expo', Vajdahunyad Castle, 15 - 18 March

From the organisers: Hungarian Orchid Association organises its spring Orchid & Bromelia Fair in Hungarian Agricultural Museum, Vajdahunyad Castle between 15 - 18 March. During the 4-day event prominent role is given to different species and hybrids of Dendrobium genus amongst hundreds of odorous orchids in flowers.
This genus is the most numerous genus of orchids, more than its 1200 species are known and the number of their hybrids is multiple. From this enormous richness of species hundreds of special, exotic, colourful, odorous orchids can be seen there, even those new hybrids blossomable in house with success.
On the ground floor of the museum – as always – there will be a wide selection of orchids and other plants from domestic and foreign horticultures.
