Wine Is All Around Budapest's Castle Garden
Now on until 7 April at the Várkert Bazár. The title sums up this mega wine show perfectly, it's all about wine (Vinum in Latin) for visitors from the whole Region of Central Europe (CE): VinCE.

There are 160 exhibitors in 2018, from Hungary and neighbouring countries plus a few more from further afield too, all offering their fine wines in a new 2000 square meter venue for this annual tasting extravaganza.

In addition to wine, pálinka also plays an important role in this the 9th VinCE, so visitors can also get acquainted with products from the best pálinka distilleries around.

Gourmet delights – like cheese, olive oil, special sausages and a lot of other products – are also displayed at the event.

Besides the exhibition wine lovers can also taste and learn about wines at seated wine master courses and interactive workshops run by winemakers providing up-to-date information and related stories.

Masterclass topics include the latest trends in champagne, biodynamic wine production, the new fashion of so-called volcanic wines, and the rosé revolution.

"We have invited to the master courses such internationally acclaimed wine writers, wine judges and Masters of Wine as Peter McCombie and Elizabeth Gabay. Monty Waldin, one of the most significant experts in the field, will deliver a presentation on biodynamics," said Borbála Jandrasics, professional executive of the event.
