- 24 Aug 2018 12:03 PM
Discover new ways, artistic responses and inspiration for the ever-renewing relationship between the city and the river. The Danube connects cultures, languages, people and organizes our lives.
You either stare at it from the bridge or by sitting on a bench at the riverside, the Danube always is different. That's why it's exciting and never enough.
Almost all of the programs are welcoming English-speaking guests, since music, art and the river itself has no language barriers.
Programme Highlights:

Budapest was literally built on water: there are countless medicinal and mineral water springs under the city feeding the city's thermal baths, swimming pools and drinking fountains. In addition, Moreover, the Danube which is dividing the city into two parts, provides one of Europe's best quality drinking waters. In our walk you'll hear stories about Turkish baths, medieval water pipes, medicinal waters, floods, and of course about the development of the city. We top it all with a pleasant boat cruise to admire Budapest's beauties.
