EFOTT is a mega summer party for students (of life), held for nearly a week by a lake not very far from Budapest. As well as offering great gigs, the organizers say they put much emphasis on sporting and cultural activities, and also on fine festival food and drinks!

    Although we thought in 2016 that we could say goodbye to Roxette and the chance to hear their evergreen hits live, Per Gessle, the band's founder, has now picked up the torch and will return to the stage in 2025 with Swedish superstar Lena Philipsson on a tour called Roxette In Concert. The first stop on the European tour will be Budapest, on 4 November at the Budapest Arena.

    Japanese Film Week is set to return to Toldi Cinema this autumn, bringing five acclaimed films from recent years that showcase the diversity and depth of contemporary Japanese cinema. Screenings will take place from 6–10 October 2025, with all films shown in Japanese and subtitled in both English and Hungarian.
