Coronavirus Breaks Out In Hungarian Prisons
Some 48 prison inmates and 50 members of staff had been infected with the coronavirus in prison facilities by Tuesday morning, the National Headquarters of the Corrections Institute told Világgazdaság.

All the infected prisoners were taken to Tököl, the central hospital of the Corrections Institute, and put in quarantine.

Prison wardens who were found to be infected are in official home quarantines meanwhile. None of them require medical attention.

All new arrivals to prisons receive epidemiological examinations.
