Minor Earth Tremor Felt Near Miskolc
An earth tremor occurred around Miskolc at about noon Monday, but no reports came of any damage caused.

The Budapest-based Kövesligethy Radó Seismological Observatory confirmed that a minor earthquake occurred near Miskolc at 11.50 a.m. on Monday at a four-kilometre depth and its magnitude was 2.8 points on the Richter scale.

Borsod county disaster response spokesman Dávid Dojcsák said a few people signalled that they had felt the tremor but there were no reports of any damage.
