Breathtakingly beautiful Lillafüred is amazing as a romantic hideaway for couples, and great to visit with family as well. Its surroundings provide fun for everyone: nature's beauty, great gastronomy and special adventures - as the video below shows.
Key sights in Lillafüred that are worth a visit include the Palace Hotel designed by Kálmán Lux in neo-renaissance style. The palace is surrounded by a large park with rare plants.
Nearby you can admire the highest waterfall in Hungary with its 20-meter height - although it is an artificial one. There are three natural caves not far from that hotel too: Anna Cave, István Cace and Szeleta Cave.
Maybe the best known sight is the 1.5 km long Hámori Lake, right in front of the hotel. In the summer boats and paddles can be rented to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake.
