An additional 194 soldiers will be dispatched to 75 hospitals from Tuesday to help in the coronavirus epidemic, the Armed Forces announced on Monday.

Altogether about 300 soldiers will provide assistance as requested in order to relieve the burden on healthcare institutions.

Soldiers assigned to hospitals will take on logistics tasks, help take the temperature of incoming patients, co-ordinate patients, and assist with administration and transportation.

In addition, the Armed Forces said soldiers are on patrol in 48 settlements and are constantly involved in anti-migration and border protection tasks to increase the public sense of safety.
